The Xenair range is filled with PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active+ to keep you warm and comfortable through peaks and troughs of activity and changeable weather. The synthetic insulation is fast-drying in damp conditions, and body-mapped to effectively regulate your temperature and retain heat when you’re static.

Xenair Insulated Vest

Ideal as a midlayer or a versatile outer, it’s compact and built to respond to your output whether you’re questing up a frozen waterfall or transitioning from skin to ski.
It features an improved, highly breathable lining which moves sweat through the system more quickly than ever before. Combined with body-mapped, dual weight insulation designed to maintain warmth only where you need it, it keeps you comfortable for longer and removes the need to change layers in mixed conditions.
Xenair Alpine Flex
Warm when you need it and breathable when you don’t, the Xenair Alpine Flex is built to withstand fast-moving mountain days.
The Rab Xenair Alpine Flex is a carefully engineered piece of active insulation. It uses body-mapped PrimaLoft Gold Active+ in the core for warmth, with stretch fleece panels under the arms and sides to vent excess heat and facilitate movement. The result is a jacket that stays comfortable across a wide range of effort levels without constantly needing to layer up or down.
The fit is trim, ideal over a light base layer, though it might feel snug if you prefer thicker layers underneath. The outer Pertex Quantum Air strike a decent balance between breathability and wind protection, and the overall feel is supple and quiet.
Xenair Alpine Light
The Rab Xenair Alpine Light is a highly technical and versatile synthetic insulated jacket optimised for active mountain pursuits. This jacket excels at regulating temperature during stop-and-go activities and is filled with PrimaLoft Gold Active+ insulation strategically mapped with different weights for enhanced breathability.
The body-mapped insulation is lighter under the arms and around the core to allow venting while providing more warmth on the sleeves, collar, and other areas. This differential insulation prevents overheating during high-output moments.
Key features include an articulated athletic fit with mobility in the arms, an insulated under-helmet hood, three zippered pockets, and a stuff sack. The durable Pertex Quantum Air shell cuts wind well.
Xenair Alpine
b's Xenair Alpine Insulated Jacket is Rab's attempt at making a do it all mid layer for cold environments that eliminates the need to constantly remove or add layers.
The new dual density insulation keeps you warm when you stop for a break or stop for a bite to eat, but then starts to breathe once you start moving again - this jacket is best used in cold environments during high output activities such as ski touring or winter climbing.
The hood has an elasticated closure that works well with a helmet and has an adjustable toggle at the back to cinch in the hood when not wearing a helmet.
