Using distinctly shaped baffles, the Apex™ design evenly suspends a record four layers of insulating Thermal Mirror™ film inside the pad. A radical new hybrid design in sleeping pads, the Flyer combines the thickness of an air pad with the plush durability of a foam pad — and with minimal weight consequences. Flyer is the first pad to use a completely new manufacturing approach that removes 60% of the foam yet tremendously increases thickness and plushness when inflated, producing a 3D-sculpted topology for a faster recovery after a hard day on the mountain.

Astro maintains its legacy lateral baffles, which are more comfortable and prevent the pad from curling under the body. The Pillow Baffle™ at the head end bolsters your camp pillow and helps it not slide off in the middle of the night. Vortex™ pump sack works, Laylow™ zero-profile, micro-adjustable valve for easy inflation and personalized comfort, and helps keep moisture out of your pad.

The durable 30D polyester ripstop is made of 100% post-consumer recycled materials that conform to the body and have a great feel. Custom Laylow™ zero-profile, multifunctional valves & Vortex™ pump sack, allow you to inflate and deflate quickly and easily make micro adjustments for maximum comfort.
