Our Verdict
Nikwax TX. Direct Spray-on has been designed specifically for breathable, waterproof garments and works to replace and restore their water repellent finish. If your garment loses this finish it will soak up water, which in turn will restrict the breathable performance of membranes like Gore-tex or eVent.
The TX.Direct Spray-on is easy to use, just spay it on your garment and wait, no washing machines needed. This fantastic Eco-friendly Spray-on re-proofer is designed to be used after cleaning with Nikwax's Tech Wash, so your garments will perform season after season.

Help & advice:
Application:
- Protect working surface and lay clean wet fastened garment flat
- Hold bottle 15cm/6 inches away from garment
- Apply evenly to outside of fabric
- Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth
- Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed
Drying:
- Air dry (after several minutes check for and remove surplus product with a damp cloth) or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
Volume guide:
- This bottle is enough to waterproof 1-2 garments depending on the condition of the fabric being treated. Jacket 250ml, Over suit 400ml, Overtrousers 150ml, Gaiters 70ml
