Our Verdict
The Tiger Wall UL1 Bikepack trims Big Agnes’s proven design into a single-person format, offering impressive weather protection and space for 925g. The use of recycled 15D nylon with HyperBead fabric improves tear strength and waterproofing compared with earlier versions, while the DAC ShortStik poles reduce the packed length to just 38 cm, making it easy to strap to handlebars or stow in a frame bag. The drybag-style stuff sack with integrated mounting straps is exceptionally well thought out for bike use.
Inside, the single door and vestibule provide adequate access and storage for one person plus gear. Headroom is good for a tent of this weight, and ventilation helps reduce condensation in damp conditions. The semi-freestanding structure pitches quickly and remains stable with careful staking in breezy weather.
