A lightweight grid-fleece glove for active use in cooler conditions.
Berghaus says:
The Berghaus Theralite Gloves deliver lightweight warmth and touchscreen-friendly performance for cold-weather outdoor adventures. Whether you're heading out on a brisk morning hike or tackling a chilly trail run, these gloves provide lightweight warmth without restricting movement.
Polartec Power Grid fabric delivers excellent warmth for its weight, helping keep hands comfortable when temperatures start to drop. The low-profile, form-fitting design offers excellent dexterity for active use and precise hand movement. Touchscreen-compatible fingers and thumbs let you use devices without removing your gloves, making them a practical choice for everyday outdoor wear.
Our Verdict
The Berghaus Theralite Gloves weigh 42g in Medium/Large and use Polartec Power Grid to provide warmth without adding bulk.
For me, the close fit is the main appeal. They look slim enough to keep good dexterity for adjusting kit, using trekking poles or handling a phone, rather than feeling like a heavier winter glove.
The touchscreen-compatible fingers and thumbs are also handy when you want to check navigation without exposing your hands to the cold.
They aren't designed for wet or particularly harsh conditions, but as a light glove for keeping the chill off while moving, I like the combination of low weight, breathability, and dexterity.
