Lightweight output with a better spread of modes
Silva says:
Seek 600 is a compact and versatile headlamp with 600 lumen, designed for both everyday use and outdoor adventures. It features four brightness levels, including a super-low mode of 10 lumen for an extended burn time of up to 75 hours, as well as a red light mode that preserves night vision.
Light for every occasion
Seek 600 is built for contrasts – just as useful on evening dog walks as during night hikes or ski tours. Silva Intelligent Light combines a long-reach spotlight with a close floodlight for optimal visibility and balance in all conditions.
Practical and durable design
The lamp unit is detachable and made from recycled plastic. It includes a lock function to prevent accidental activation and is water-resistant according to IPX5. Seek 600 also features an integrated 1350 mAh Li-Po battery that charges via USB-C (charging cable not included).
Our Verdict
At around 70g including the battery, the Silva Seek 600 Recharge gives you a lot of output in a small package.
The 600 lumens output is useful when you need extra reach, but I think the new 100-lumen setting is the more important addition. It fills the gap between the very dim 10-lumen mode and the brighter walking settings, making it much better suited to camp jobs, easy paths and general backpacking use.
I also like Silva’s combined spot and flood beam, which gives a more balanced view of the ground ahead than a narrow distance beam alone. The detachable lamp is handy around camp too, especially inside a tent.
