Our Verdict
The Pursuit Carbon FLZ strikes a smart balance between low weight, packability and all-day comfort. At 252g per pole for the 125cm version, the carbon construction keeps weight low, while the cork grips and foam extensions feel noticeably more comfortable on long climbs.
The folding Z-pole design packs down neatly to 41cm, making them easy to stash quickly when not needed. I also like the FlickLock+ adjustment, which feels secure and allows enough range for steeper descents and most trekking-pole shelters.
For backpacking and long-distance walking, these feel refined and dependable.
