The Trail Vista FLZ utilizes our variwidth strap, ergonomic dual shot grip with cork wrap, and extended EVA foam grip for maximum comfort and impact reduction. The Flicklock lets you dial in the length for all-day comfort. A UL-validated recycled aluminum shaft keeps it light and durable.
Our Verdict
The Trail Vista FLZ strikes a sensible balance between compact packability and everyday practicality. I like that the FlickLock adjustment gives enough range for steep climbs, descents and trekking pole shelters. The cork grip feels comfortable over longer days, and the extended foam section makes quick hand changes on uneven terrain straightforward.
At 371g for the 120–135cm version, they are not especially light, but the aluminium construction feels reassuringly solid compared with more fragile carbon options. The folding mechanism does benefit from occasional cleaning and drying after wet conditions. Best suited to backpackers and hillwalkers who want compact poles without sacrificing adjustability.
