Reinforced hiking tights for cooler trail days
Patagonia says:
Versatile midweight tights with durable reinforcements at the front legs, seat and rear waistband for all-day comfort that keeps up in the wilderness. Inseam is 28in. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
Our Verdict
The Patagonia Women’s Terravia Peak Tights are built for hikers who like the comfort of leggings but want more durability for trail use. At 258g (UK12), they use a stretchy recycled nylon body with reinforced woven panels at the knees, seat and rear waistband.
The high-stretch fabric, flat seams and gusseted crotch make them comfortable for long days on the move, while the two deep thigh pockets are much more useful than a small waistband pocket for keeping a phone or snack close to hand.
The open pockets are less secure, and the lack of a drawcord means it's not a fit you can dial in.
