Lightweight trekking performance and long-distance durability

The three-section aluminium pole is your perfect companion for mountain tours. The Skytera Lite is equipped with the slim Verticon foam grip. What makes it special is the dimensionally stable, ultra-light and quick-drying D-Loop Mesh Strap, which is already used in trail running. The grip weighs only 28 g including the strap and impresses with its absolute lightness, perfect ergonomic shape and a grip extension for additional grip options. After many metres of altitude gain, the Verticon offers descent control and comfort with its large grip surface. Thanks to the simple adjustment system, the pole can be quickly adjusted in length between 100 and 135 cm.
Our Verdict
At 219g per pole, the Skytera Lite strikes an appealing balance between lightweight trekking performance and long-distance durability. I think the 100–135cm adjustment range is one of its strongest features, as it makes the poles far more practical for trekking-pole shelters. The extra length adjustment should also help on steep terrain and uneven pitches.
The slim Verticon grip and lightweight mesh strap feel good in the hand, and the extended foam grip makes quick hand-position changes on climbs and traverses much easier.
I also think the aluminium construction makes sense here. It is not as light or compact as folding carbon poles, but it should feel more forgiving on rocky ground and under heavier backpacking loads.
