Our Verdict
The Shield M stands out because the Reactiv 2-4 lens covers an unusually wide range of conditions, from dull valley days to bright alpine sun, without needing lens swaps. At 31g, I think the balance between protection and comfort is particularly well judged. The removable side shields noticeably reduce side glare while remaining comfortable. Ventilation is also effective, helping limit fogging during sustained climbs.
