Our Verdict
The Mountain Equipment Sella Pants use a stretchy EXOLITE 125 fabric that gives them a good balance of breathability, wind resistance and freedom of movement. At 276g (Medium), they are perfect for spring and summer hiking.
The elasticated waistband sits neatly beneath a rucksack hip belt or climbing harness, with an internal drawcord adding security. Two zipped hand pockets and a zipped thigh pocket provide straightforward storage, while the elasticated hems keep excess fabric away from the ankles.
The simple cut and stretch fabric make them comfortable to wear all day, especially over steep terrain.
