Reliable protection for wet, cold days with dependable warmth and waterproof performance.
Rab says:
Offering versatile protection for cold, wet conditions, these waterproof, lightly insulated mitts keep your hands warm and dry when a storm strikes. With textured, reinforced palms for durability and grip, they're ideal for hiking and mountain use.
Our Verdict
The Rab Storm Gloves combine a Porelle waterproof membrane, Stratus insulation, and a tough PU-reinforced palm to provide balanced protection for mountain and winter use. They feel warm and comfortable in typical winter temperatures, and the pre-curved fit makes handling poles and buckles straightforward. The cuff closure seals effectively against snow, and the synthetic insulation stays warm even when damp. Breathability is decent for a waterproof glove, although during higher exertion, moisture can build up. Durable construction and a solid grip make them a capable, low-maintenance choice for cold, mixed-weather days.
