Our Verdict
Weighing in at 614g, it strikes a solid balance between lightness and structure. The die-cut back panel and padded harness feel well thought out, even under a full load close to its 11kg limit. Ventilation on the back panel is better than expected for a pack at this price point—an understated win.
Organisation is where the Nano 28 really shines. The external zip pocket is deep enough for quick-access items, while the internal compartments keep contents tidy without overcomplicating things. The lack of a front mesh pocket—a feature found on the 24L version—feels like an odd omission here.
The main compartment’s drawstring-plus-buckle system secures gear well, and the side mesh pockets hold bottles snugly without the sag you often find on cheaper packs. Trekking poles stay put with the shock locks, though I would have preferred slightly more robust loops for added confidence.
If you’re after a no-nonsense daypack that keeps a low profile but performs consistently, the Nano 28 delivers. It’s a dependable 28L pack that handles hills and high streets with equal ease—built for movement, made to last.
