Our Verdict
The Gregory Nano 14 sits nicely on the shoulders and barely tips the scale at 352g, making it a solid pick for short outings where you pack the essentials and little else. I appreciate the clean profile, breathable back panel, and the reflective webbing, which is a subtle but thoughtful touch. The grab handle feels well-made and useful when slinging it around on the go.
However, I’ve got to be honest—the quick-pull drawstring is not for me. It’s the only way in or out of the main compartment, so I wouldn't use this as a commute or travel pack, as I don't feel it's secure enough. I’d prefer a traditional top zip or clasp buckle for peace of mind. Also worth noting: no bottle pocket, which I suppose is part of the stripped-down ethos, but I did miss it on longer walks.
If you’re after a simple, low-profile pack that won’t weigh you down, the Nano 14 does tick many boxes—just be aware of its limitations.
