With a focus on efficient performance, the Anti-Freeze Lite Hoodie utilises lightweight Pertex Quantum fabric and high performance Allied Feather ExpeDRY 800FP Goose down. The Montane Anti Freeze Lite Down Hoodie refines insulation for fast, cold days when weight and mobility matter most.
At 309 g (Medium), it uses 800 fill-power ExpeDRY goose down with synthetic panels under the arms to manage moisture during exertion. The trim fit works neatly over a base layer and mid-layer, keeping bulk low while maintaining full freedom of movement. The Pertex Quantum outer fabric is soft, quiet, and blocks wind effectively without feeling stiff. The elasticated hood has no adjustment but seals cleanly around the head and moves naturally, aligning with the jacket’s minimalist intent.
A single hem drawcord helps secure warmth, while recessed cuffs extend the insulation over the wrist and fit smoothly under gloves. Stitch-through baffles maintain loft, and the jacket compresses easily into its own stuff sack. It balances warmth, mobility, and packability with impressive precision, making it ideal for cold, fast-moving mountain days.

- PERTEX® QUANTUM 20 Denier recycled nylon ripstop, Pertex Quantum textile uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft downproof fabric that allows insulation to fully loft, providing both comfort and enhanced thermal performance. A PFC/PFAS Free durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.
- Filled with 80g (size Medium) of 90/10 ExpeDRY goose down at 800+ fill power. ExpeDRY works through a permanent and chemical-free bonding of gold particles to the down cluster which aid in the evaporation of water molecules, causing the down to dry faster and stay dry in high humidity and extreme conditions.
