Tiny backup light for camp details
Snowpeak says:
Weighing just 5g, this ultra-compact light fits between your fingertips, making it ideal for camping, hiking, or everyday carry. High mode delivers sufficient brightness to illuminate your immediate surroundings, while low mode extends battery life for extended use. Features include a flashing function for emergency signalling, a lock function to prevent accidental activation, and full waterproof protection for reliability in any weather. Use it as a rope marker at camp, a night light in your tent, or a handy flashlight for daily tasks. Its diminutive size and versatile functionality make it an essential addition to any outdoor kit or emergency bag.
Please note, the Micro Hozuki requires 2 x CR1632 button cell batteries that are not included
Our Verdict
The Snow Peak Micro Hozuki LED Lantern is best seen as a tiny clip-on glow light. At 5g, it is small enough to live on a zip, keyring, pack strap, or tent loop, giving just enough light to find kit, mark a guyline, or move around a shelter.
The 27-lumen high mode is useful for close-range tasks, while the 2.8-lumen low mode makes more sense as a soft night light. I like the IPX5 weather protection too, as it suits damp camp use.
The coin-cell batteries are less convenient than USB-C, but for a small backup light or tent marker, they are neat and easy to carry.
