A featherweight liner that keeps feet cooler and drier, especially when paired with a thicker sock for big-mile days.
Injinji says:
Injinji’s Liner socks are designed to be worn as the first line of defense against excess moisture and blisters, keeping feet dry and comfortable. The five-toe design forms to the contour of your foot, allowing for natural, restriction-free movement. With each toe separated, all skin-on-skin contact between the toes is eliminated, helping to prevent blisters. Wear the Liner socks as a baselayer under an outer sock for extra cushion, or wear them alone for lightweight protection during everyday adventures.
Our Verdict
The Liner Mini-Crew Coolmax from Injinji is one of those small details that can make a real difference on the trail. They're ultra-thin and low bulk at just 2 g (Medium), but the five-toe construction offers excellent blister prevention by keeping each toe separated and dry. I’ve always liked toe socks for reducing hotspots, and these work exceptionally well as a base layer under a cushioned outer sock. The Coolmax yarn helps move moisture away efficiently, even in warm conditions, and the mini-crew cut sits neatly under most boots and mids.
They’re fine for short, easy-going days, though I wouldn’t count on them for durability if worn solo over rough terrain. Fit is snug but forgiving, and the 200-needle knit makes them feel smoother and more refined than earlier Injinji models I’ve used.
