Our Verdict
The Fjallraven High Coast Duffel 36 is excellent for weekend trips and travel. Its 36-litre capacity provides ample room for clothes, toiletries and gear, yet it's compact enough to carry on flights or stow in a vehicle.
One of the standout features is the versatile carrying options. It has reinforced webbing handles to use as a traditional duffel but also comes with stowable backpack straps with air mesh padding for comfortable carrying as a backpack. This versatility makes it highly convenient for navigating airports and train stations or just walking around your destination hands-free.
The construction is super durable, thanks to the 210D recycled ripstop nylon fabric with a 10,000mm waterproof PU coating. The base is reinforced and padded to protect the contents.
Organisation is excellent, and the full clamshell zippered opening allows you to access the main compartment easily. There are also multiple zippered pockets to keep smaller items organized. The main zipper can be locked as well for added security.
