Compact solar charging for longer trips
Sunslice says:
The Fusion Core 10 is an ultra-lightweight portable solar panel built for hikers, campers, and off-grid adventurers who need reliable energy in remote environments.
The Fusion Core 10 is a compact and durable 10-watt foldable solar charger, designed for users who need reliable solar power on the go. Built with high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells, it delivers up to 10W of clean energy, perfect for charging smartphones, power banks, and other USB-powered devices during outdoor adventures or emergencies.
Equipped with dual USB outputs (USB-A and USB-C, both 5V/2A), the Fusion Core 10 allows you to charge two devices sequentially and safely. An integrated LED indicator shows the solar charging status at a glance.
Despite its solid construction, the Fusion Core 10 remains lightweight (220g) and ultra-slim when folded, making it easy to slip into any bag. It unfolds to a larger surface for optimal sunlight capture and includes four attachment points for secure mounting on backpacks, tents, or bikes.
With its rugged black design, customizable branding options, and compatibility with optional accessories like the Gravity power bank and Trident cable, the Fusion Core 10 is a versatile solar solution built for adventure.
Our Verdict
At 207g, the Sunslice Fusion Core 10 Mini is light enough to make solar charging realistic for longer backpacking and bikepacking trips. The folding design packs down neatly, while the four attachment points make it easy to secure to a rucksack or set up when you stop.
Its 10W output is best viewed as a way of trickle charging throughout the day rather than quickly topping up a phone. I would pair it with something like the OUTZAC Core Power Bank makes sense because its display lets you see how much power the panel is actually producing.
Like any compact solar panel, performance depends heavily on sunlight and positioning, but the low weight and small packed size are what make this one interesting.
