Our Verdict
Hydrapak's Flux Bottle 1.5L is a simple upgrade on the original soft flasks. The flask shape is great for packing in your pack or shoving into pockets on the outside. The twist nozzle has been changed and features a self-sealing valve making it spill proof so you're not worrying about it when its stowed away. The bail handle is useful for getting water from streams while the 42mm neck is compatible with numerous water filters such as the Katadyn BeFree.
The soft materials used in the Hydrapak bottles are great for keeping the weight down but most importantly the packsize is tiny once the bottles are empty. They are made with BPA and PVC free plastic and are good for a wide range of temperatures. They can be frozen too if you're in need of a particularly cold drink on a hot day
