Our Verdict
The Corus 20F uses 650-fill-power hydrophobic duck down with a 530g fill to deliver a warmer, more capable balance of insulation and packability, weighing 786g. This increased fill improves thermal performance, with a comfort rating around 0°C and a limit of around -6°C. It sits more firmly in three-season use, with enough depth for colder shoulder-season nights when paired with an appropriate mat.
The quilt design facilitates more unrestricted sleep than a traditional mummy bag. The box wall construction helps maintain loft and reduce cold spots by allowing the down to expand more effectively. A shaped footbox adds noticeable warmth, either wrapping around the feet or integrating with a mat to help limit drafts.
Ventilation remains easy to manage with the open design, while the pad attachment system helps secure the quilt and improve thermal efficiency when temperatures drop. The added insulation makes it more forgiving in cooler conditions, though it still benefits from a well-managed setup to avoid drafts.
The lightweight fabrics keep pack size relatively low while offering warmth without feeling overly delicate. Overall, this is a well-balanced option for those prioritising comfort, flexibility and improved cold-weather performance within a quilt-based sleep system.
