Our Verdict
Outdoor Research's 2021 ActiveIce Sun Gloves provide excellent levels of protection and comfort from the sun. The gloves have a close fit but the Thermo-Regulating ActiveIce fabric is amazingly lightweight and breathable. Despite this they still provide protection from the sun with a UPF 50+ rating. The fabric does an impressive job of keeping you cool when you are exposed to the sun for prolonged periods. They are also excellent at wicking moisture and are fast drying so they perform well no matter what activities you're involved in.
These gloves offer an extended coverage high above the long gauntlet style wrist. They also feature a light silicone grip across the palm for added practicality.
