Our Verdict
The Typhoon 25 focuses on low weight and full waterproofing rather than adding complexity. The roll-top closure and seam-taped liner keep the kit dry in sustained rain, making it a reliable option in consistently wet conditions.
The carry is straightforward. The soft back panel sits close to the body and moves naturally, with enough padding for light to moderate loads. It is most comfortable within a sensible weight range, where the lack of structure is less noticeable, and the pack remains stable through the day.
Storage is simple but effective. The main compartment is easy to load, with stretch side pockets and a front pocket that provides easy access to items you want to keep close at hand. The internal zip pocket helps organise smaller essentials without overcomplicating the layout.#
