Our Verdict

The Flextail Zero Lantern combines a 300-lumen camp light with a focused 200-lumen torch, giving it more practical range than a basic tent lantern. I like the metal dimming control, which makes it easy to adjust brightness without repeatedly cycling through fixed modes.

The warm 3000K lantern light suits tents and campsites, while the cooler torch beam is better for paths and night-time tasks. At lower settings, the 1,100mAh battery delivers up to 35 hours of use.

The built-in carabiner makes it easy to hang, though the IPX5 rating means it is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof.
