Our Verdict
Rab's Mythic Ultra Down Jacket packs in a lot of technology, lets start with offset box wall baffles which ensure there are no cold spots from stitching through both outer and inner, most often found on heavier expedition weight jackets. Next Rab's TILT technology which reflects heat back to the body which would have otherwise been lost, and finally the sheer quality of the down, almost the best quality available at 900FP. What's not to like?
High quality construction with super lightweight fabric, hand pockets and a chest pocket, decent hood which is helmet compatible but not so big that it doesn't fit well when not wearing a helmet.
