Move freely over sun-baked boulders and rocky trails with these light, breathable pants. Highly articulated and stretchy, they offer impressive mobility and keep you cool when the sun’s beating down. Ideal for fast-paced exploring, they’ll keep you moving all summer long, from challenging scrambles to golden evenings at the crag.
Our Verdict
At 248g (UK12), the Rab Women’s Harpur Pants are light, stretchy and easy to move in, with a simple waistband that sits comfortably under a pack hipbelt or harness. The articulated cut gives good freedom of movement for steep paths, scrambling and bouldering without making the trousers feel overly technical.
They work best in dry or mixed summer conditions. They give useful coverage and breathability, but they are not the trousers I would choose for sustained rain or rough winter use. Pocketing is minimal, with two open hand pockets and a concealed rear pocket, so storage is limited to small essentials.
