Our Verdict
The Bearing Zip Tee S/S uses OMM’s 3D CoolPlus polyester, giving it a close, lightweight feel with good moisture transfer for running and fast hiking. At 110g (UK 12), it keeps things simple, while the short front zip gives you a useful way to dump heat quickly on harder climbs.
I also like how the seams have been moved away from the tops of the shoulders and combined with the flatlock raglan construction; that should reduce rubbing under a running vest or backpack, especially over longer days.
The Performance Fit is intentionally close, while Polygiene odour control and SPF 50+ protection add some useful practicality for warmer-weather use.
