Our Verdict
The Women’s Airox 34ND keeps the same warm-weather focus as the larger Airox packs, with a ventilated back system that helps air move behind your back while still supporting the load. At 1208g, it is not a stripped-back pack, but the weight brings useful features: adjustable back length, supportive hipbelt, front access, side compression straps and plenty of quick-access storage.
The ND fit uses narrower dimensions and a shorter 16-19 inch back length, making it better suited to women or anyone with a smaller frame. I like the zipped front entry, as it makes buried layers, food or waterproofs easier to reach than on a simple top-loader. The large front stash pocket is ideal for a damp kit or a layer you keep taking on and off, while the chest-strap storage is handy for snacks, a phone or a soft flask. It is always nice to see a rain cover included.
