Our Verdict
The Water Filter & Purifier Soft Flask combines a 500ml soft flask with a filter that removes viruses, bacteria, and protozoa. At 83g, it removes viruses, and its lightweight soft-flask design really makes this filter stand out.
The flexible flask works well for drinking directly or squeezing filtered water into another container, and the cartridge also reduces particulates, selected chemicals and heavy metals.
Sadly, the main limitation is the filter itself. Each cartridge is rated to 250 litres and must be replaced within three months of first use, while the filter cannot be backwashed if flow starts to drop.
