The VectoPlus is a compact, easy way to collect and filter water for large groups or multi-day stays in the backcountry. Featuring the same slider opening and universal 28mm threaded neck as our standard VectoX, it's easy to collect and filter large volumes of water on the go. Our Verdict
CNOC Outdoors has earned its place as the market leader for water transportation, and the VectoPlus builds directly on that reputation. It shares the familiar dual-opening design of the classic Vecto, with the large opening making it much easier to fill from streams than standard water bags. The 28 mm threaded opening works cleanly with market-leading filters, such as the Sawyer Squeeze and Platypus Quickdraw, creating a straightforward gravity setup.
The use of 0.4 mm TPU, borrowed from the tougher X range, gives a reassuring feel and instils confidence that this bag is designed for hard use on the trail. The Internal baffles help the bag to hold its shape and noticeably reduce sloshing when full. There are four corner grommets and a TPU-coated grab handle that offer flexible hanging and carrying options. Available in 4L at 151 g, 6L at 178 g and 8L at 204 g, the VectoPlus is clearly aimed at those needing to carry larger amounts of water, and for group basecamp use.
