Nikwax's TX. Direct Wash In is a water based waterproofing that adds/renews water repellency and revives breathability to your wet weather clothing. It prolongs the life of your gear and optimises outdoor performance.

For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash in a seperate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before use. Follow care label instructions.

Our Verdict

Nikwax TX. Direct Wash-In has been designed specifically for breathable, waterproof garments and works to replace and restore their water repellent finish. If your garment loses this finish it will soak up water, which in turn will restrict the breathable performance of membranes like Gortex or eVent.

TX. Direct Wash-In is easy to apply as it can be used in your washing machine. There is no need to tumble dry after washing with TX. Direct Wash-In, meaning that the process is energy efficient and safe for older garments. This fantastic Eco-friendly wash-in is designed to be used after cleaning with Nikwax's Tech Wash, so your garments will perform season after season.

Help & advice:

Machine Wash:

1. Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place maximum of 2 clean garments in washing machine.
3. Use 2 full caps (100ml) per garment
4. Run 30C Synthetic cycle and slow spin. Do not machine wash garments if taped seams have become dislodged.

Hand Wash (use gloves):

1. Immerse 1 clean garment in 6L of hand-hot water in a bowl or sink.
2. Add 1 full cap (50ml) of TX.Direct.
3. Agigtate to mix, leave to soak for 5-10 minutes, then agitate thoroughly
4. Rinse with cold water until water runs clear

Drying:

• Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows
