The Breaker is a bicycle chain breaker multi tool made from premium-grade stainless steel. It features a tool bit extender that can be used as a handle, giving you the functionality of a workshop chain breaker in a conveniently compact multi tool. A magnetic tool bit slot located at the end of the tool allows it to be used like a screwdriver as well. The tool magnetically houses 2 tool bits inside its structure. Each tool will be sent with a pouch made from premium leather and recycled inner tube for safe and easy storage.
Our Verdict
The Breaker is a strong steel-cored bike maintenance tool with varied functions for trail and workshop use. The tool bits include: allen keys from 3-8mm; T25 & PH2 so cover most requirements. They slot into the end of the tool, though due to the size of the tool, accessing tight spots, can be awkward. The long tyre lever has good leverage and the chain splitter is easy to use. The addition of a bottle opener is a nice touch for a post-ride or maintenance session reward. The leather case is combined with recycled inner tube and is strong and overbuilt. It is closed with a sturdy press stud and has 2 long straps for attaching it to the bike. The embossed finish helps give it a retro look and makes it a quality and somewhat quirky gift item.
