Our Verdict
Ombraz offers a unique take on the traditional pair of sunglasses. By removing the arms and replacing them with a nylon cord, Ombraz has created glasses that are not only more resilient but much more comfortable and better suited to life on the trail, biking, climbing, and skiing.
Without the arms, the glasses are significantly more comfortable. These sunglasses are designed to provide a comfortable and secure fit. They won't slip or fall off your face, even when you're wearing a helmet. The adjustable cord allows you to customize the fit, so they hug your face perfectly. You can also be assured that the arms won't break off easily.
Initially, it's common to pull the cord too tightly. However, it's better to leave some wiggle room, as this provides a more comfortable fit.
Included with every pair of glasses is a slim, lightweight cloth case which also contains a glasses cleaning cloth. This design allows you to keep your glasses clean during a hike without having to wipe them with your dirty base layer.
