A simple and effective way to boost the performance and efficiency of your stove. The MSR Heat Reflector/Windshield will improve boil times and reduce fuel consumption. The reflector also acts as a base and will steady your stove on uneven surfaces.
It's important to note that it should not be used with a canister mounted LPG stove as it will overheat the canister, causing it to explode. So unless you want severe burns and a broken stove I'd stick to the instructions.

Will the MSR Solid Heat Reflector w/ Windscreen work with an alcohol stove?
Yes, the MSR Solid Heat Reflector is compatible with most small backpacking stoves, regardless of fuel types. Stoves with a larger footprint, such as the Dragonfly, are unfortunately too big for the Reflector.
