A lightweight soft flask set that keeps hydration simple and accessible on the move
Hydrapak says:
In two sizes, the SoftFlask™ 150 holds up to four servings of gel nutrition, with a wide, clog-resistant nozzle that lets you easily squeeze out high-viscosity fuel with a quick twist. The SoftFlask™ 250, made for liquid and low-viscosity nutrition, features a high-flow, locking cap that prevents leaks and drips while in motion.
Our Verdict
The SoftFlask 250ml works best when treated as a compact fuel flask rather than a normal water bottle. At 26g per flask, they disappear neatly into running vest pockets, hip belts or shorts pockets, and the soft construction reduces sloshing as the contents empty. The locking cap is a sensible detail for liquid nutrition mixes, while the wide opening makes refilling and cleaning easier than older soft flasks.
I found the 250ml size better suited to electrolytes and thinner nutrition than thicker gels. Best suited to runners, fast hikers and race-focused backpackers wanting lightweight, low-bulk hydration storage.
