Our Verdict
The Bridgedale SKI Lightweight Merino Performance Socks offer a secure, supportive fit that stays in place throughout the day. At around 50g per pair (Medium), they feel light and low bulk, which helps maintain a precise fit inside ski boots. The merino blend manages moisture well and maintains consistent comfort during long sessions, while targeted cushioning around the shin and foot reduces pressure. Breathability is good for a ski sock of this weight. They are best suited to active use rather than very cold conditions, where a thicker option may be preferred.

Material & Construction
- Fibre Composition: 20% Merino Wool , 58% Nylon/Polyamide , 20% Polypropylene/Endurofil™ , 7% Nylon , 2% LYCRA®/elastane
- Performance Fit: Contoured knit ensuring the cuff of the sock does not move as it comfortably but closely fits the ankle or calf, depending on the model. They are made from slightly tougher yars and best suited for expeditions and Multi-day trekking.
- Lightweight: Light, cool, very breathable and fast wicking. Cushioning and protection are very good for the minimum weight.
