The new Rogen 3 is an outstanding three-person tent for any trip in snow-free conditions. It is airy, comfortable, and its simple to pitch construction makes it both remarkably strong and lightweight. Dual entrances and vestibules provide plenty of room for gear, while large, always open mesh panels on the inner tent along with curved patterning on the bottom of the outer tent walls offer constant airflow. For even more ventilation in fine conditions, both vestibules can be completely rolled away. Each vestibule door has two panels that can be used independently of one another, affording many configuration options. In addition, guy lines at the bottom of the outer tent wall on both the head and foot ends of the tent can be shortened to provide more protection, or adjusted for greater airflow, depending on the weather conditions.
The Rogen 3's versatile venting, dual-vestibule comfort and self-supporting dome construction - which requires only the vestibules to be pegged out - will appeal not only to backpackers, but also to, among others, paddlers, summer mountain scramblers, and bicycle tourers. The Hilleberg Rogen 3 is an outstanding three-person tent designed for snow-free conditions. It provides a balance of strength, lightweight design, and excellent ventilation. This tent's airy and comfortable design, with dual entrances and vestibules, offers ample space for gear and versatile configuration options to suit different weather conditions. As you would expect from Hilleberg, the build quality and attention to detail are second to none.
One of the most impressive features of the Rogen 3 is its large, always-open mesh panels on the inner tent and the curved bottom edges of the outer tent walls. These ensure constant airflow, making it ideal for warm-weather camping. In good conditions, both vestibules can be rolled entirely away, maximising airflow and opening the tent to beautiful views.
The tent's self-supporting dome construction, which requires only the vestibules to be pegged out, makes it remarkably easy to pitch and highly stable, even in challenging conditions. The inner and outer pitches simultaneously, so the inner tent is protected if pitching in bad weather. This design, combined with the Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric and 9mm poles, ensures a lightweight yet durable structure.
