Five common failures wreck thru-hikes: torn fabric, punctured inflatables, frayed seams, blown stitching, abrasion. The Repair Spool covers all five in 32 g. One hollow spool holds 1 yard of 1.88" Gorilla Tape, 3 yards of bonded nylon thread, two needles, four Threadlock Patches for woven fabrics, and two Airlock Patches for TPU inflatables. Tape buys time. Sewing rebuilds structure. Patches handle the leaks and tears that tape can't.
