A comfortable, breathable pull-on that balances warmth, mobility and practicality for active use or downtime.
Rab says:
Go-to mountain pull-on providing low-bulk warmth for hiking, climbing, and multi-activity trips. Easy to layer, it's built with a breathable grid fleece fabric and a comfortable relaxed fit that works on and off the mountain.
Our Verdict
The Rab Ramshaw Pull-On provides steady warmth and excellent comfort through its Thermic fleece, which feels smooth on the outside and soft against the skin. At 397g (Medium), it sits on the heavier side for a grid-style fleece, offering dependable insulation and a robust, well-made feel.
Rab calls this a relaxed fit; however, I find the fit a little too relaxed. For context, I take a large in every Rab product, but found this to be oversized, perfect for casual wear, but too loose for efficient layering on the hills, so I sized down to a medium, which fit much better. Sizing down is the consensus among everyone here in the UOG office, across both men’s and women’s versions.
The deep front zip allows easy ventilation, and the chest pocket adds useful storage. Stitching and finish are tidy throughout, creating a durable, versatile midlayer suited to year-round mountain use.
