Our Verdict
The Rab Radeon -12C / 10F is a synthetic sleeping bag designed for consistent performance in damp UK conditions. At 1794g, it sits heavier than down alternatives but offers dependable warmth well below freezing, even when exposed to moisture. The WARM WAVE construction uses a layered, concertina-style layout to trap air effectively while maintaining loft across the bag. Sidewall baffles increase internal space and help maintain insulation during movement, improving comfort for side sleepers.
Stratus synthetic insulation continues to insulate when damp and dries quickly, making it well-suited to condensation-heavy environments. The 3/4-length zip allows effective temperature control, and the overall cut is generous without feeling restrictive.
