The Fire Maple Petrel Ultralight Folding Table delivers precisely what I want in a minimalist cooking station — fast setup, decent stability, and barely any faff. At 279g, it’s not something you’d bring on every hike, but it's a welcome upgrade for basecamp cooking, solo overnights, or when you’re tired of balancing your stove on a rock. The folding legs are shaped to cradle standard 110g and 230g gas canisters, which adds a surprising amount of stability for such a compact setup.
