Fortunately, Grangers' Performance Wash gently removes dirt and eliminates odours whilst removing harmful residue build-up and maintaining any remaining water-repellency. We also recommend it as a pre-wash to any waterproofing treatment.

Our Verdict
Performance Wash is a simple, effective cleaner for waterproof and breathable fabrics. The concentrated 300 ml formula requires only 25 ml per load, producing a noticeably fresher, residue-free result. It restores the efficiency of durable water repellency by removing dirt, oils and detergent build-up without affecting breathability. Regularly washing and reproofing technical clothing maintains breathability, prolongs fabric life, and reduces waste by keeping gear performing as intended for longer. The formula is water-based, PFC-free, bluesign-approved, and the packaging now uses post-consumer recycled plastic.

How to use
- Use half a capful (25ml) per wash load.
- Pour product directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine in place of normal detergent.
- Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F or according to care label instructions.
