Our Verdict
The Kavu Paddle Out SS Tee is a straightforward organic cotton t-shirt that leans more towards everyday wear than technical use. At 193g (Medium), it has a solid feel without being heavy.
The fabric is soft against the skin and breathable, making it comfortable in warm conditions, whether at a steady pace or while spending time in camp. It behaves like cotton in use, so it retains moisture and dries more slowly than synthetic layers, which limits its use on more demanding days on the trail.
The fit is relaxed with enough space through the chest and shoulders, giving it an easy, non-restrictive feel over long periods. Construction is simple and durable, holding its shape well with regular wear.
