At 2,933g , this isn’t an ultralight option—but it’s not trying to be. What you get in return is real comfort: a generous inner for two plus a large, well-shaped porch that easily swallows packs, wet gear, or a stove setup. The standout for me is the front door, which can be fully rolled away to open up the space—great for scenic spots, dog owners, or simply making a damp evening more bearable.
The updated design adds better pole tensioning, stronger fly-to-inner connections, and a more user-friendly door setup. Outer-first pitching keeps the inner dry, and the tunnel structure is quick to set up and stable in poor weather. The flysheet’s 3,000 mm waterproof rating and tough 10,000 mm groundsheet mean you’re well covered in wet conditions.
