Light, warm and practical, the Nebitron Pro focuses on core insulation while keeping movement completely unrestricted.
Rab says:
Synthetic insulated vest offering instant core warmth in cold, damp weather while keeping your arms free to move. Highly durable, it's resilient enough to wear anywhere and stands up to scrapes with rock, perfect for winter hikes and climbs.
Our Verdict
This synthetic vest is built for cold, damp conditions where a simple, insulating layer is more useful than a bulkier jacket. At 351g (Medium) it has a sensible balance of warmth and packability, and the regular fit works well over a base layer or under a shell. The sleeveless design maintains high mobility, making it suitable for mixed terrain and steady activity where arm movement matters.
The insulation provides consistent warmth and handles moisture well, while the Pertex Quantum Pro shell feels tough enough for frequent use on rock and in brush. The main zip runs smoothly, and the chin guard is comfortable when fully closed. Hand pockets sit cleanly, with an internal chest pocket for valuables. The hem adjustment is easy to operate with gloves.
