Efficiently moving moisture and drying quickly, it’s as good on long winter approaches as on spring mountain runs. The deep centre front zip allows you to dump heat on strenuous climbs, while a low-profile collar and bonded zip insertion remove potential rub points for greater comfort on long, demanding days. Our Verdict
At 153g (Medium), the Ignis LS Zip-Tee is a light synthetic layer for hillwalking, scrambling, running and year-round layering. The 120g/m² grid fabric moves moisture well, dries quickly and gives a little more structure than a very thin running top.
I like the deep front zip, as it makes temperature control much easier on steep climbs. The slim fit keeps bulk down under a fleece, shell or pack, while the flatlocked seams help reduce rubbing when worn next to skin.
