Our Verdict
At 134g in Medium, the Rab Microlight Hut Slippers provide plenty of warmth without taking up much room in your pack. The 700-fill recycled down and elasticated high cuff create a close, sock-like fit, while the removable insoles allow them to roll into compact bundles for storage.
The Pertex Quantum outer offers light protection from moisture, and the flexible PU soles have a silicone print to provide grip on smooth surfaces. These work best inside a tent, hut or bothy, where the low weight, warmth and packability are more important than underfoot protection. They are not particularly well suited to outdoor use, as the thin soles provide little cushioning over stones and will wear more quickly on gravel or tarmac.
