Our Verdict
The VAGA Mesh Flex Cap is built for high-output use in warm conditions. At 37g (M/L), it feels very light, but the real strength lies in the open-mesh side panels, which allow far more airflow than a standard fabric cap when you are working hard.
I like the short, perforated peak because it provides enough glare protection for running and fast hiking without feeling bulky or catching too much wind.
The fast-adjust drawcord is simple and easy to tighten when the wind picks up. For running, fast hiking and warm-weather training, it is a focused, breathable option.
