Our Verdict
The LEKI Khumbu Lite Trekking Poles focus on the fundamentals, and that is exactly their appeal. At 245g per pole, they strike a sensible balance between low weight and the confidence that comes from a robust aluminium construction. The Aergon CorTec grip is particularly comfortable during long days on the trail, while the adjustable straps and ergonomic shape help reduce hand fatigue.
The Speed Lock Plus adjustment system is another highlight. It is quick to adjust, easy to use with gloves and holds securely once set.
They are not aimed at gram-counters chasing the lightest possible setup, but that feels entirely intentional. For hillwalking, backpacking and long-distance trails, these are dependable poles that prioritise comfort, stability and long-term durability.
